The advantages of Arched Roof Plates mainly include open space, low cost, reliable waterproof performance, and beautiful appearance. The panels don’t need any beams, purlins or supports, which are available for large-span within 8-36m.
The Arched Roof Plates are rolled by galvanized steel sheets with mechanical lock edge connection. The main material is cold-rolled structural steel plate, with a galvanizing amount of not less than 200g/m2. The surface is coated with primer and topcoat, which has good anti-corrosion performance. The special structure makes sure that the roof is naturally waterproof, with no leakage. The service life can reach 30-50 years.
The rolled plate turning into an arched roof panel requires two forming processes. The first step is to roll the steel plate into a trapezoidal corrugated straight groove plate, and the second step is to roll the straight groove plate into an arched groove plate by rolling out small transverse ripples. The curvature of the arched groove plate is adjusted by the depth of the transverse small ripples on the groove plate.
In the construction progress of the Arched Roof Plate,pre-embedded parts need to be installed on the ring beam and long steel pallets should be welded onto them. The arch foot and the steel support plate on the ring beam can be bolted together.
The U-shaped arched roof panels need to be locked on the ground before they can be used for lifting. By using a locking machine to process three single boards into one whole board, lifting time can be saved greatly. After lifting, the gaps between each adjacent 3 panels need to be interlocked through the roof locking edge. The construction tools are the same as the machines for the ground locking edges.
The sunlight panels of lighting strips can be installed throughout the roof to increase the lighting area. For example, after installing two sets of arched roof panels, leave a position for one single plate, which will be used for installing the sun panel in the future. According to user requirements, ventilation caps can be installed on the top of the arched roof panels to meet indoor ventilation requirements.
